Remember thumb shifters and toe clips? How about Bio-Pace chainrings and Smoke/Dart tires? Here are some images from fun times past. One or two may make you laugh, but it's all part of what makes us who we are today. I'm grateful that it only took one ride (Yancey's Ridge) for me to realize that I really, really needed to wear a helmet.
